Trunks

RELATIONSHIP

Her partner and her dearest friend. Trunks was the one who rescued her from her quiet life on an empty planet, and Trunks was the one who taught her and helped her to understand things. The two have been together for a long time, and though it was a bit rough at first, especially with Trunks tending towards staying out of things at times, they've become very tight knit friends. While they can't be inseparable, thanks to the different areas in which they work, they often do hang out together on free time, and they very regularly train against each other.

While she loves Trunks as a friend and a platonic partner, she also finds him absolutely adorable at times. His general attempts to be cool, his nervousness around Vegeta, and the admittedly sometimes frustrating way people tend to walk over him are somewhat sad, but also somewhat endearing, to her. She does occasionally poke fun at him and tease him because of it, but he gives it right back to her on the few times she's awkward or uncomfortable. Many a tale is told about how Trunks cried laughing because Kohlrain blew up a toaster in her own face.

As much as she cares about everyone else, Trunks is the only person that Kohlrain will be completely honest with. She is an open book and wears most of her feelings on her sleeve, but the few things that bother her really bother her, and Trunks is one of the very few she feels she can just blurt everything out to.

Vegeta

RELATIONSHIP

Her King and Ruler, despite what anyone else might say -- even including Vegeta himself sometimes. She idolizes him in her own, innocent way, though she's no mindless subject; she is more than happy to -- and has more than once -- scold Vegeta or knock him down a few pegs when he's being an evil asshole. This mostly came to pass during the early days, when she joined in the fight before Frieza's death, but the fact he has gotten better just makes her all the more determined to knock him back to his senses if he goes off the rails.

Though she admires Goku for his strength, she personally thinks that Vegeta is the better fighter. It's not a matter of attitude or strength that makes her think this, but work. Goku certainly does train hard, and dedicatedly, but she thinks Vegeta has had to work harder than Goku on nearly any aspect -- including his heart. She cares more for the work than for the results, so however much she loves Goku, she'd definitely answer Vegeta if asked to pick between them.

That, and her loyalty, makes a lot of people mistake her for blindly following Vegeta and ignoring his faults, but anyone know knows her will learn fast that she simply just likes him more. Arghul's even theorized that it's because she's more like Goku that she prefers Vegeta's rougher state, like a weapon pressing against a grindstone.
